After a few trips in the sewers, he comes across a few rebels who built Gordon a fancy little airboat to drive around and shoot things with. After a few teleportation failures due to Kleiner's pet Headcrab Lamarr, Gordon then escapes to the sewers, in the process getting his signature Crowbar from Barney. He gets his H.E.V suit on and tries to get teleported to Black Mesa East. She takes him to a lab where he meets another one of his former co-workers, Dr. Gordon then gets assaulted by the police but then out of nowhere, ALyx Vance, daughter of one of Gordon's co-workers, defeats the police and saves Gordon. He gets rescued by a former Black Mesa security guard Barney Calhoun.
